Problem

Mid Atlantic Retina provides comprehensive retina care from its clinics in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware tri-state areas. Their website and locations lacked SEO. They needed help to make it easier for patients to find the nearest clinic.

Challenges Identified

  • 1 – Traffic and Goal tracking were not properly set up.
  • 2 – Google properties were not optimized.
  • 3 – Lack of on-site SEO.
  • 4 – They needed local SEO for multiple locations.
  • 5 – Crawl errors on the website.
  • 6 – New website designed provided a poor user experience.

Actions Taken

  • 1 – Performed keyword research and created a strategy based on local searches around each of MAR’s clinics.

  • 5 – SEO on each location’s webpage on the main site.
  • 6 – Added structured data to the website and to each location’s page.

Results Achieved

  • 1 -MAR now ranks at the top of the first page of Google for both general terms and branded terms.
  • 2 – Google properties now appear on both Google Search and Maps within featured snippets for local searches.
  • 3 – Each location’s Google profile now makes it easy for patients to contact MAR and schedule appointments.
